MOPS - Mothers of preschoolers

  • What is mops?

Here at MOPS, we are on a mission to celebrate motherhood. MOPS exists to meet the needs of every mom - stay at home, working, single, married - moms with different lifestyles who all share a similar desire to be the very best moms they can be! Raising children is beautiful and hard and having each other to lean on is life-giving. Our group is composed of moms pregnancy through kindergarten and is a place for friendship, community, support, faith and growth. Together we can embrace the journey of being a mom and change the world in all the best ways.

  • this year's theme: find your fire

Never let the fire go out...When you hope, be joyful. When you suffer, be patient. When you pray, be faithful. Share with God's people who are in need. Welcome others into your homes. Romans 12:11-13

Since the beginning of time, humans have used fire for its warmth, light, protection and company. This is a year we will tend the fire in our hearts. We will stop inhaling the fumes of our mistakes that tell us we are not enough. Instead, we will choose to tend our God-given fire. We will love our children with an all-consuming love and use our words to warm the world. We will LIVE EXPECTANTLY (to think about what could go right); SURRENDER DARINGLY (to let things go); and BREATHE FREELY (to let ourselves be loved). May this be the year that we FIND OUR FIRE.
