    interim senior pastor

    Pastor Thomas was called to St. Paul's in July 2014. He graduated from Concordia College in Ann Arbor, Michigan; and from Concordia Seminary, St. Louis, earning a Master of Divinity degree. He also earned a Master of Sacred Theology degree from Concordia Seminary and completed his Doctor of Ministry degree from Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. He served as pastor at Zion Lutheran Church in Mascoutah, Illinois. Pastor Thomas has also served at Concordia Seminary as Director of Admissions and Vice President. He has also served as the Executive Director for Pastor Education at The Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod.

    Pastor Thomson was installed at St. Paul's as Assistant Pastor in June 2016. He graduated from Concordia Seminary, St. Louis in 2016. He graduated from Concordia College Chicago.

  • pastor paul prange

    visitation pastor

    Pastor Prange has served part-time at St. Paul's since 2000. He visits our homebound on a regular basis. He served as Senior Pastor at Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church in Bridgeton, Missouri, for many years.

  • Tanner joined St. Paul's in August, 2018. He will serve his vicarage year with us and then return to Concordia Seminary, St. Louis, in the fall of 2019.

    minister of music

    Mark was called as the Minister of Music in 1991. He earned the Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education - Director of Parish Music degree (1974) and the Master of Church Music degree (1976) from Concordia University (River Forest) Chicago. He has also been presented the honorary Christus Vivit award (Concordia Seminary, St. Louis, 2005) and the honory Doctor of Letters degree (Concordia University Chicago, 2011). Mark previously served as Minister of Music at Trinity Lutheran Church and School, Indianapolis, IN (1974-1991). He is a published composer of choral and organ music. He served on the LCMS Commission on Worship (1995-2004), and as chairman (2001-2004). Mark serves as an elected member of the Board of Directors of Concordia Publishing House.

    Assistant minister of music

    Matt Gerhardt serves as St. Paul’s Assistant Minister of Music. He is a 2012 graduate of Concordia University Wisconsin (BA-DPM). Additional studies include a year as a guest student at the Hochschule für Kirchenmusik in Herford, Germany and a Master of Music in organ performance from Indiana University, Bloomington, Indiana.

tabby comfort dog

Tabby is a trained Lutheran Church Charities K-9 Comfort Dog. She interacts with people at churches, schools, nursing homes, hospitals, events, and in disaster response situations. Tabby is a friend who brings a calming influence and allows people to open up their hearts and receive help for what is affecting them. Tabby has her own Facebook page here.
